NOMAD STATEMENT ON CORONAVIRUS

As the virus continues to spread in countries across East Africa, and with guidance from the regional public health authorities, we have decided to take further action to reduce the transmission of COVID-19. Yesterday, we made the difficult but important decision to temporarily close our offices across the region effective 8:00 a.m. Monday March 23, 2020.

While we are temporarily closed Here are some of the measures we have taken to play our part as a responsible business entity;

  • We shall be working remotely for the foreseeable future. We encourage all our staff to be disciplined and stay at home. Only move if they must and keep washing your hands with soap and water.
  • In the rare cases when our staff must come into the office, the necessary precautions and clearances will be sought in accordance with the state regulations.
  • We shall be calling all our stakeholders’ contact persons to avail them with information we deem helpful in this period.
  • We shall also remain access accessible through our online platforms and on telephone.
Finally, be in prayer, keep in faith and stay safe.

Sincerely,
Ariho Kamara
Group Chief Executive Officer
